Compeetee turns surveys into a native club capability

Compeetee is ResponseDock’s first host platform and shares its founder.

Club managers create, publish, share, and review surveys without leaving Compeetee. Members answer a fully themed survey on a Compeetee URL.

How it works

From a manager’s idea to answers, in five screens

Every screen below lives inside Compeetee. ResponseDock renders the survey engine; Compeetee owns identity, navigation, brand, and domain.

A manager opens Surveys inside Compeetee. The list, tabs, and buttons are rendered by ResponseDock but styled by Compeetee — there is no second login and no separate dashboard.

Challenge

Keep ownership in the host

Compeetee needed club-owned questionnaires without building a second survey product, exposing another vendor login, or sending members to a visibly different domain. Manager permissions, club boundaries, media-library assets, mobile answering, and public sharing all had to remain under Compeetee’s control.

Solution

Embed the engine, not another product

Compeetee’s backend connects one ResponseDock workspace to each club and mints short-lived, purpose-specific embed sessions. Managers receive Create & Manage and Results views; active members receive respondent access only. A host theme is sent before rendering, iframe height follows content, and share links resolve on compeetee.com.

Trust boundary

Who is responsible for what

Identity starts in Compeetee. Every request is re-checked by ResponseDock before anything renders.

  1. 01Identity

Compeetee authenticates the user; its server signs the club, user, role, and allowed view.

  2. 02Isolation

Every survey operation is authorized against the signed workspace and club subject on the API.

  3. 03Presentation

The host theme is applied before the embedded workspace or survey becomes visible.

  4. 04Sharing

A Compeetee route resolves the public survey and mints respondent access behind the host domain.

Delivered capabilities

What shipped in the integration

  • Manager-only creation, editing, publishing, Excel export, and result administration
  • Club-scoped respondent access and public-result visibility
  • Compeetee palette, surfaces, typography, borders, loading state, and recolorable vector mark
  • Host-domain share links and QR codes with no ResponseDock domain exposed
  • Public media-library images for banners and presentation-only image blocks
  • Lifecycle messages for resize, create, publish, open, completion, and export progress
Implementation outcome

What this integration delivers

  1. One coherent workflow for managers instead of a second dashboard
  2. A member-facing survey that looks and behaves like Compeetee on desktop and phone
  3. A maintained survey engine behind a club-owned experience and domain

This case study documents implemented product capabilities and architecture. It does not claim customer adoption, revenue, or response-rate uplift without measured evidence. Product screens are illustrative and use sample data.
